position paper

I enjoyed  the paper about global warming.  The paper was good because it showed the true causes of global warming.  The paper also reminded that I need to recycle to help prevent global warming.  The paper was also informative because it discussed the many benefits of reusing recycled materials such as plastic bottles.  I learned some helpful tips such as if only one person recycled it can still make a difference. And with this tip I realized I can make a change.

my reseach

My research is going very well it is fairly easy to find topics.  I have found some cool stories like about the death of Natasha Richardson and her death from skiing.  I also found a lot of cool facts about how a helmet can keep you safe some of the facts are like how many deaths happen a year from not wearing a ski helmet.  All in all it is going good. 

Should wearing ski helmets be mandatory

As I started to research my project I found a lot of good and helpful webpages.  Like how a lady named Natasha Richardson died in March 2009 for not wearing a ski helmet.  I also found out in 2008 more than half of skiing deaths a year are from not wearing a ski helmet.  I found this on U.S. Consumer Safety  Commission.  I have not had any trouble so far on my project and it is going fine.  

The Most Dangerous Game

In the story The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell there is a hunter named Rainsford he falls of the boat and gets stranded on an island.  On this island there is a general that is a very good hunter.  But he got bored of hunting animals so he hunts people that he captures  in the story it the general said "It had become to easy. I always got my quarry."  He also said that he always got his kill and he never wasted a bullet.This quote is saying that for the general he got to good at his sport and he always got a kill.   This quote also is saying that he wanted to change up the sport because it was getting toe easy.  This book relates to life because people will get to good at something and then they will make a new game harder and maybe more dangers .  The new game could put others in danger.  So we should keep stuff changing because if the games are not changed people will make new games.  Some people will think these people are crazy.  Like how Rainsford thought the general was crazy. This is why we should keep changing games.

Good people that make bad choices

In the book Dolans Cadillac by Stephen King the main character was a good person but he made a bad choice  he could have made them because of greed or because he wanted revenge.  He seemed like a good person because he was a teacher but he just let revenge take him over.  .I think that he killed Dolan because he wanted revenge because Dolan killed his wife.  I think that he also killed Dolan because of greed.  Dolan was a very rich man and he hated Dolan for that because he was poor.  This is how a person can seem good but then in the end they let greed or revenge take them over which makes a person do something bad.
Like Tiger woods he may have seemed good but he made bad choices which made him not as popular as he was before he made bad choices.  Another person that seemed good but made bad choices is Michael Vick at first he seemed good but then he got caught up in the money and made bad choices with that money and then he had to go to jail.  This is how people may seem good but then make bad choices.

Dolans Cadillac

In the book "Dolans Cadillac" by Stephan King a school teacher want to kill a man named Dolan.  Dolan is very rich and he killed the mans wife. So he has been fallowing Dolan for a while and then he figures out that he goes to Las Vegas every weekend.  So he joins the road work crew for the summer to get the letter from the road work crew to know where there was road work.  He finally found what he was looking for.  A Detour he was going to dig a hole in the road where the detour was then when he saw Dolans cadillac he would take to detour sign away.  THen Dolan would drive on the road and fall in the hole and die.  This is what I have read so far in Dolans Cadillac.
